CONSTRUCTION: Hand-woven, hand-embroidered, and hand-knotted
A captivating decor centerpiece, this Glaoui tribal rug features intricate hand-knotted and hand-embroidered designs. It was expertly crafted by Berber women of the Moroccan Atlas Mountains with skills passed down from mother to daughter. In traditional Glaoui style, the rug incorporates three techniques: hand-weaving, hand-knotting, and hand-embroidery. It measures approximately 40 inches x 79 inches excluding the fringe. Warp threads are woven at one end, fringed at the other. Truly a work of art, this piece is stunning as a wall hanging or rug. We suggest the use of a non-skid pad under the rug. Inventory # 23-00-00.
